Santa Maria Foundation is very sad to hear the news of Andrea Lelo’s injury, who travelled all the way from Mexico to run the London Marathon. We all come together to pray for her speedy recovery
Amazing Lorena Cervera spent 3 months in Colombia filming the daily life of the girls at Santa Maria Foundation. The visit inspired her to create a documentary. We created a crowd funded to raise £2800 and we manged to raise £540. We had the support from our wonderful donor and member of the Santa Maria Family , Steve Digva who donated the rest of the money to create this amazing documentary. Thank you so much !!This film will benefit our Santa Maria girls and empower girls around the world. It will inspire generations to come. It will show our donors how well the girls have grown and developed through our vision.

Our super-running heroe Shaz Imran made a super effort completing the gruelling 26 mile circuit of the London Marathon. He is non-marathon runner which makes his efforts all the more commendable. He raised lots of money for us on a fun day out, the lovely British weather held out for us and made it a beautiful spring day, perfect for running and spectators alike. Thank you ..
We hosted our annual Christmas Fundraiser at the 2&8 Club in Berkeley Square. We had a lovely turnout and fun evening and were supported by our wonderful performing singer Samantha Cressell, our super DJ Jezz Pereira and our dancing latina beauties from Element Dance. Thank you also to our generous supporters for the donations of the raffle prizes; Hari’s Salon, Nicolas Touros and to everyone for coming out to make it such an enjoyable evening.
We hosted our private screening of Prometheus at the exclusive screen at the Fox Film Studios. A wonderful chance to be in an intimate screening with a wonderful ambience that allowed everyone to mingle and meet each other. Thank you to Rob and Selma Huber for arranging the event for us.
It also gave us our first screening of the Santa Maria video. Thank you to Alexio Ferrao of AFD for donating the whole production and video.
Celebration Party and first Elahe’s Zumba lesson. Once again Elahe and her dedicated family had organised 2 exceptional amazing activities with lovely Iranian food, jewellery , zumba and attractions. Thank you our Ambassador and Hero !!
Thank you to the Latin American Live Dancers , the Top DJ ‘s, Klaus, Jez Pereira and Carlo and Andy and Andy Boujis for their support. It was a memorable evening and a great help for the girls.
Elahe is a lawyer and the angel for these girls; She became a Zumba Instructor. The course was very intensive and it requires about 9 hours of Zumba dancing. Some people pass through this world and leave it just as they found it. But people like Elahe and her family take the time to do special things for others that make the world a better place. We really appreciate Elahe. You’re special, and that’s a fact!
Big Hug and Love from the girls, Peter, Lady Y and Santa Maria Foundation

We hadalready completed two Big Christmas parties there and we would then go on to organise New Year celebrations for the girls, as well as further support for the orphanages.
At the end of the two Christmas parties there were beautiful moments when the girls got together to say prayers for all you kind souls who support us.
The evening’s entertainment was contributed by the celebrated Simon Lawrence DJ to the stars Elton John, Valentino, Versace and Madonna, and was supported by a live performance by Brother Snare. Also DJ Ruben Cordero (King Conga) who has worked with some of the most important contemporary Latin artists supported a spectacular live Shakira Live Dance Show by the dancers from www.exquisite-experiences.com.
