The success of the processes in SMF is largely due to the excellent work of the teachers, as well as their commitment, dedication, dedication and affection that they offer to girls in everyday life.

MYRIAM SALAZAR CHOIR MASTER

On February 20, the choir teacher Myriam Socorro Salazar joined the organization, a teacher with higher studies in music pedagogy from the music conservatory of the National University of Colombia and extensive experience in conducting children’s choirs. We give Master Myriam a warm welcome and success in the goals set with the SMF girls.

DOUBLE BASS CLASS MASTER ANGELICA FABRA CULMA

            

In June, teacher Angelica Giselle Fabra started the double bass class with two girls from the foundation (Ingri Mayerli Muñoz Guava and Olga Lucía Chavez Orjuela). It is a great achievement for the foundation to have incorporated this instrument into the Foundation’s orchestra and to be able to give girls this new class that will greatly help their personal and vocational development.

MASTER DIRECTOR  ORCHESTRA MARIA DE LOS ÁNGELES PORRAS

In July 2019, the teacher María de Los Ángeles Porras Cruz joined the organization as director of the two orchestras. Teacher Angeles is a violist at the Faculty of Music of the Cundinamarca University and has extensive experience as a viola and orchestral conductor. We wish the teacher great achievements with the girls who carry out their orchestral process in the foundation.

ENGLISH MASTER CLAUDIA BRAVO DE GUZMÁN

From July to November 30, 2019, Colombian teacher Claudia Bravo de Guzmán entered to support the bilingual processes of girls. Very soon she achieved great empathy and did an excellent job during the second semester, strengthening the knowledge that Sonia Deighton had begun. Thanks to teacher Claudia for her commitment, fulfillment, dynamism and joy that she offered every day to the girls of the foundation.

VIOLIN MASTER ANGELLA NATHALIA RAMIREZ JACINTO

In August, teacher Angella Ramírez joined the music teacher’s team, with the violin class. Angella is a violinist with a degree in music from the National Pedagogical University, with extensive experience in teaching violin and musical initiation with children. Thanks to teacher Angella for the commitment and dedication she has given to the girls of our foundation.

 

SUPPORT OF THE PSYCHOLOGIST ELIZABETH ROJAS QUITIAN

Twice a month or when the need arises, the psychologist conducts private sessions with girls and parents orienting some of their processes at the family level. She also conducts workshops in which topics such as Coexistence Manual, how to address some problems of adolescence, training habits among others.
